Things I have actually run, broken, or maintained. Each started from a problem I hit myself. Where the code is private (internship work, or infrastructure holding real credentials), I say so rather than implying a repository exists.

One flake for every machine I run

A NixOS monorepo: flake-parts with auto-imported modules, a laptop, a retired laptop kept for conservation, and a headless server built from the same tree. Secrets live in the repo encrypted; services are reachable only through a VPS.

Self-hosted server infrastructure

A headless server running Immich, Jellyfin, Grocy, SearXNG, Samba and a local LLM behind an OpenAI-compatible API. It started on Debian in January 2026 and was rebuilt on NixOS in February. Nothing listens on the public internet: every service is reachable only through a VPS.

A local model stack I can measure

Three machines, three inference engines, and the quantization and context choices that put a 125 billion parameter mixture of experts on a 12 GB card. Every endpoint speaks an OpenAI-compatible API and is reachable only through a VPS; the harness configuration lives in the same flake as the rest of the system.

Wireless detection over nl80211

A research internship with the 2XS team at CRIStAL, on the wifi module of lili: a monitor-mode probe that hops 31 channels, parses 802.11 management frames and publishes devices, access points and links to an MQTT bus. My part was the interface handling, first an nl80211 dump to discover interfaces, then genl and rtnetlink calls in place of every fork and exec of iw and ip.

A split mechanical keyboard, schematic to solder

One half of a 30-key split keyboard: schematic and two-layer PCB in KiCad, ATmega32U4 running LUFA HID, 16 RGB LEDs on two cascaded TLC5947 drivers, Li-ion charging and a boost converter on the same board. 112 footprints, and the backlight current killed the first microcontroller.
